⭐witch: from old english wicca and wicce. wicca for male sorcerer, wicce for female sorceress. also used as a derogatory word for a mean older woman, also known as hag, or an alluring, charming young girl. and used for someone who practices witchcraft, who supposedly is to have supernatural powers

⭐sorcerer/sorceress: one who tells the fortune; uses divination

⭐witchcraft: according to folk etymologies, the word wit refers to wit, wise, wisdom, therefore witchcraft means "craft of the wise"
