It always was,always is, and always will be. Many different people call it different things, from prana or akasha,prima materia, pneuma, mana, aether, to qi or chi. The sanskrit Vijñāna translates to life force, mind, consciousness, but no matter what it's called it will always have a duality to it. And because of this duality, it is neither good nor evil but both.
